Selling Questions, Answered
Most people ask the same five things before they send a photo. Here they are up front.
Do you buy individual key issues or only full collections?
Both. A single key issue is very much worth emailing about. We buy from one graded slab right up to full long-box collections and inherited libraries. If it is Marvel, DC, a recognised key or a clean Silver or Bronze Age run, send it over.
Do I need to know what my comics are worth before I email?
You do need to include your asking price or a rough range. We are not offering free full-collection valuations, because our time is focused on direct buying, not research for other sellers. A rough figure is fine, it just gives us something honest to reply to.
Do you buy CGC graded books?
Yes. We actively buy CGC graded keys and slab collections. Please include photos of the label, the grade, and the book itself, plus your asking price so we can reply with an offer.
Do you buy nationwide across the UK?
Yes. We buy comic collections throughout the UK and can discuss collection, delivery or drop-off depending on the size of the collection and your location. Tell us where you are in the email and we will suggest the simplest option.
How and when do I get paid?
By UK bank transfer or PayPal, once your books are with us and verified against the photos. For most agreed deals that means payment within a few working days of pick-up or delivery, not weeks.
What if I inherited the collection and do not know what is in it?
Send photos of the boxes, a few sample covers from each box, and anything that obviously looks like a key or a graded slab. Give us a realistic asking price or range based on what you have been told or what you would hope to receive, and we will take it from there.
