Why It Matters

Abomination returns immediately after his debut in Tales to Astonish #90, taking his first cover spotlight opposite the Hulk. The Hulk story, Whosoever Harms the Hulk..!, continues the confrontation involving Betty Ross and the Stranger. The issue also includes the Sub-Mariner story Outside the Gates Waits... Death! This original pence-priced edition adds interest for collectors of UK-distributed Silver Age Marvel comics.

Collector Notes

Top staple absent; reported manufacturing omission. The seller reports that the upper staple was omitted during manufacture. This has not been independently authenticated, and the photographs alone do not conclusively establish the cause. No error premium is being claimed.

Sold raw/ungraded. The 5.0 VG/FN grade is a visual estimate; grading is subjective, and no professional or CGC grade is guaranteed. All five photographs show the actual copy and form part of the description. The front-cover photograph has visible image distortion near its edges. Please assess the binding, cover wear and interior condition from the supplied photographs.

This is an original 1967 printing, not a later reprint. It is a Silver Age comic, not a pre-Code issue.
